Ingredients for Chicken Masala


Chicken: 1kg
Onion: 250 gm
Oil: 4 tbsp.
Ginger paste: 1/2 tsp.
Garlic paste: 1 tsp.
Green chili: 4
Cloves: 10 
Cumin seed: 1 tsp.
Coriander seed:  1.5 tsp.
Cardamom : 3 small , 1 big
Cinnamon: 1/2 inch
Black pepper: 6 to 8 pieces 
Red Kashmiri chili powder: 1.5 tsp.
Turmeric: 1 tsp
Salt: 3 tsp. or according to taste

Procedure for the Chicken masala Recipe

1.Firstly, arrange every ingredient in front of your kitchen slab.

2.Take a bowl, put the chicken in it, and wash it properly.

3.Put the ginger, garlic, and green chilies in a mixer grinder and make a paste.

4.Now marinate the chicken with ginger, garlic, and green chili paste. Add 2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder to it.

5.Leave the marinated chicken in the bowl for 30 minutes.

6.Now, on the other side, put the pressure cooker on a flame. Put 1 tablespoon of oil on it. Heat the oil and put onion slices on it.

7.Put 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric and 1/4 teaspoon of salt on it. Now sauté the onion until it turns brown.

8.Now close the lid of the pressure cooker and wait for four whistles.

9.Turn off the flame after four whistles and grind it with a grinder.

10.Now put a saucepan on the flame of the gas and add cloves, coriander seed, cumin seed, black pepper, and cardamom; roast it.

11.When spices cool down, Grind it in a mixer grinder to make a powder.

12.Now put the saucepan on the flame of the gas and heat 3 tablespoons of oil, then put the marinated chicken in it.

13.Stir the chicken until the water dries out and oil comes out of the chicken.

14.Then add the grated onion and roasted spices to the chicken.

15.Now put 1 1/4 tsp of salt, or according to your taste, 1 1/2 tbsp. of red chili powder, and 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder in it.

16.Cook the chicken for 5 minutes and turn off the flame.

17.Now hot, yummy, and delicious masala chicken is ready to serve. You can serve it with rice, roti or naan roti.
