Ingredients


Amla: 1 kg
Black mustard: 2 cups
Cumin seed: 2 tsp
Carom seed: 2 tsp
Fenugreek seed: 2 tsp
Fennel seed: 2 tsp
Kalonji seed: 2 tsp
Red kashmiri chili powder: 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 3 tbsp
Mustard oil: 4 tbsp
Vinegar: 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
To be blended: Take a blender and put all the whole spices in it; blend them into a thicker powder.


Step-by-step process of making Amla Pickle 


Step 1: Boil amla on medium heat for 15 minutes or give 2 whistles in the pressure cooker.

Step 2: Cool down amlas then separate all slices of it and take out seed from it.

Step 3: Take a big bowl and put all amla slices in it.

Step 4: Add all ground spices, salt to taste, kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, Vinegar, and oil in it.

Step 5: Mix well all ingredients.

Step 6: Put the bowl of amla in the sunlight. You can also keep this pickle directly in the jar without putting it in the sunlight.

Step 7: Now amla pickle is ready to eat.

Step 8: Take air tight container and put amla pickle in it.
