Instant Malpua Recipe - Delicious sweet Dish or Dessert

Malpua is a sweet dish or a dessert that is made with flour, sugar, and black lentils. Different people have different types of recipes. Malpua is Indian cuisine. It is very popular among north Indians, particularly Punjabis. It is typically prepared during the Holi festival. But it is not necessary that we cook it only during Holi. We can eat it any time we like because the recipe I am going to give you a very simple to prepare and delicious to eat. You can get every ingredient you need in your kitchen. Ingredients needed to make the Instant Malpua Recipe🍠

 

Wheat Flour: 1 cup
Black lentils: 1/2 cup soaked in the water for 4 hour
sugar: 1 cup
Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Fennel Seeds: 1/2 teaspoon crushed
Milk: 3 cups
Water: 1.5 cups
Ghee or oil: 4 tablespoons

To be blended: Put soaked black lentils into the mixer grinder and some water. blend it to make a smooth paste.


Instructions For Making Instant Malpua Recipe

Step 1: Take a bowl and add wheat flour, a smooth paste of black lentils, cardamom powder, and fennel seeds, and mix them together properly.

 Step 2: Add milk to it to make a batter and keep it aside.
 
Step 3: To make a sugar syrup, add 1.5 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar to a pan over medium heat. When bubbles appear in the syrup, lower the flame and leave it for 10 minutes.
 
Step 4: To test whether the syrup is ready, simply rub it between your fingers. When it feels thick, the sugar syrup is ready.
 
Step 5: Heat the oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat, and add the batter to the pan with a spoon. Fry it and cook until it turns golden brown.

Step 6: Remove the malpua from the pan and place it in the sugar syrup. Repeat the same process until it is finished.
 
Step 7: The tasty malpua is now ready to serve hot with rabri or on its own. So enjoy it with your family over breakfast.
